 QUADRATIC EXPRESSIONS & EQUATIONS

In Chapter 2, the topic 2.1 Quadratic Expressions introduces quadratic expression as an algebraic expression of the form ax+ bx + c and are constants, should not be 0 and x is an unknown.

The highest power of the unknown is 2.

The form of quadratic expressions and quadratic equations:

Quadratic Expressions –> ax+ bx + c

Quadratic Equations –> ax+ bx + c = 0

* Note that a quadratic equation in one unknown is an equation that contains only one unknown and the highest power of the unknown is 2.
